MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - It’s mostly business as usual at a south Alabama shopping mall following a small fire that occurred on Christmas Eve.

Mobile firefighters responded to a fire at Bel-Air Mall in Mobile early Thursday after an electrical panel caught fire. Officials say storms could have played a role in the blaze.

The fire didn’t cause any structural damage, but some areas were affected by smoke. Some stores also lost power temporarily.

Mall officials say the shopping center is open, although access is limited to some areas.
