SAN DIEGO (AP) - Authorities say they are looking for a suspected carjacker who kidnapped three people, including a teenager and his coach from a San Diego sports complex.

The San Diego Union Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1Is3TqY ) that the suspect allegedly forced the teen and his coach into the coach’s Jeep SUV Wednesday morning. Authorities responded after the SUV crashed near Ramona, where the suspect then carjacked another victim to escape.

The female victim in the second carjacking escaped or was dropped off uninjured in Ramona.

One of the two kidnapping victims in the Jeep was taken to a hospital with minor injuries suffered in the crash.

Police had not made any arrests as of Wednesday afternoon and were still looking for the woman’s stolen Mercury.
