PIERCE, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have tentatively identified the bodies of a man and woman found in a burned pickup in a northeast Nebraska field after a murder and suicide.

Pierce County Attorney Verlyn Luebbe said in a news release Thursday the remains found Monday were believed to be those of 37-year-old Josh Klinetobe, of Tilden, and his wife, 33-year-old Bobbi Jo Klinetobe, of Meadow Grove. Luebbe says the identifications are tentative, pending DNA tests that could take 30 days to complete.

Luebbe also says it appears that Josh Klinetobe killed his wife before taking his own life.

The fire was reported just after 3 p.m. Monday in a field nine miles west and a mile north of Pierce. The remains were discovered in the pickup cab after firefighters put out the blaze.
