BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The multistate Powerball jackpot rises to $255 million for Saturday’s drawing after none of the tickets sold for the mid-week prize matched all the winning numbers, while a ticket sold in Chalmette won the Louisiana Lotto.

State lottery officials Thursday said no tickets sold in Louisiana correctly matched all five white balls, 16-38-55-63-67, and the red Powerball 25, to win the $232.6 million prize.

The Lotto numbers drawn were: 8, 16, 18, 32, 34 and 35. One ticket had all six numbers to win the $500,000 prize. Fourteen tickets had five numbers correct. Each is worth $1,856.

The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing drops to $250,000.

In the Easy 5 drawing, one ticket bought in Amelia won the $340,000 prize after matching all the numbers drawn: 12, 15, 20, 23, and 37.

Saturday’s top prize falls to $50,000.
