EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (AP) - Authorities say a 2-month-old boy has died after he was found unresponsive at a Connecticut home.

Investigators say East Windsor police found the infant not breathing at the home around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday and started treating him. The infant was pronounced dead at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

The mother and three other residents were home at the time of the incident. Detective Matt Carl tells WVIT-TV (https://bit.ly/1OMvQq7 ) that the baby was found with blood coming from his nose and mouth.

Authorities say the mother is from Tanzania and is cooperating with police. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

The death is under investigation. No charges have been filed.
