PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Yavapai County authorities say a Prescott man wanted on a parole violation warrant has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and other charges.

Sheriff’s officials say 23-year-old Michael Targhetta is being held without bond at the Camp Verde Detention Center.

He’s also accused of possession of burglary tools, theft and trespassing.

Authorities say Targhetta told them he entered an unoccupied home and took some small items.

Sheriff’s deputies say he was carrying several burglary tools including pliers, a flashlight and head band with an attached flashlight.

They say a stolen vehicle was found only 100 feet from the entrance to the burglarized home.

Authorities say Targhetta told them the vehicle had been stolen by one of the persons he rode with to Juniper Woods.
