TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Tucson man who fatally shot his two young daughters before turning the gun on himself has died at a hospital.

Pima County Sheriff’s officials say 37-year-old Levi Parker was pronounced early Thursday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He had been on life support.

Authorities say the girls’ mother called 911 shortly about 7 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a threatening phone call from her husband.

Deputies went to Parker’s home and spoke with him from outside the front door. They then heard a gunshot and forced entry into the house.

Deputies say they found the man and his daughters - 5-year-old Haylee Parker and 8-year-old Mackenzie Parker - all with gunshot wounds.

The older girl was pronounced dead at the scene and the 5-year-old died at a hospital.
