GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Uber operators say the Piedmont Triad International Airport Authority has changed policies and no longer allows drivers to wait for riders.

Uber driver T.D. Hasty tells the News and Record (https://bit.ly/1m7g42O) that Uber drivers had a “great” relationship with the airport until Monday, when airport police began going car-to-car asking each person if they were Uber drivers. He says police told Uber drivers they can no longer park at the airport.

Executive director of Piedmont Triad International Airport Authority Kevin Baker says the airport’s policy allows drivers to park at the airport. However, Uber drivers aren’t allowed to go inside and solicit for riders.

Baker says the airport has a contract with a local cab company to provide transportation.
