BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Bismarck police say a man unloading a handgun accidentally discharged the weapon, striking a woman standing outside the door of his trailer home.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1QKoauN ) that the bullet hit the woman in the arm on Wednesday morning. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police charged 38-year-old Ernest Edgar Wohl with reckless endangerment.

Another Bismarck man was charged Wednesday in a separate accidental discharge incident.

Police say a 25-year-old man who told officers he was “messing” with his gun in his apartment when it discharged. Police say the bullet went through the floor of his unit into the carpet of the apartment below, nearly striking woman sitting on her couch.
