BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - A teenage boy is dead and a man is under arrest after a shooting in Bridgeport.

Police said 14-year-old Luis Colon was shot late Thursday afternoon as he stood near a group of men outside a barber shop on State Street.

A 17-year-old was wounded in the leg during an exchange of gunfire. Witnesses reported hearing four shots.

Police spokesman Av Harris told the Connecticut Post (https://bit.ly/1miFeL4 ) that it did not appear Colon was the intended target of the shooting.

A 23-year-old man, Michael Majors, was arrested after questioning and ordered held on $1 million bail. It was not immediately known if Majors had an attorney.

This story has been corrected to show the shooting victim was age 14, not 15.
