GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) - Montgomery County police are investigating a Christmas Eve shooting at a McDonald’s in Gaithersburg that left one man injured.

WTOP-FM reports (https://bit.ly/1m9TzKC ) that the shooting occurred about 8 p.m. on Thursday on the 400 block of North Frederick Avenue. Police say the victim was transported to a hospital by another person at the scene and is expected to survive.

Police are searching for witnesses, and the incident is under investigation.
