COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say nine people escaped a Colorado Springs home after reports that a man had barricaded himself inside with a gun.

Police Lt. Brian Steckler tells the Colorado Springs Gazette (https://bit.ly/1U8NUPk) officers were called to the home Friday morning for a disturbance. No one was hurt, and police are still trying to determine what happened.

Steckler says two groups of people left the home within about 30 minutes of officers’ arrival. The gunman was believed to be among them. But police say they did not find a weapon inside the home. No arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon.

Photos from the scene showed the home surrounded by police vehicles. Tactical officers were also on hand.
