FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Two people have been arrested in connection with the attempted robbery of a hotel in North Dakota.

Police in Fargo say a 20-year-old woman threatened an employee of The Scandia Hotel on Christmas Eve and demanded money. Police say the woman was intoxicated at the time of the incident and fled from the hotel when the employee refused to give her money.

Police say witnesses reported seeing the woman getting into a gold-colored van, which authorities later located in Moorhead, Minnesota. Police in Moorhead stopped the van and arrested the woman and a 30-year-old man on a felony robbery charge.

The man and woman are from Fargo. They have not been formally charged. Both are being held at the Clay County Jail.
