RAVENNA, Ohio (AP) - The State Highway Patrol says two people were killed in a head-on crash in northeastern Ohio on Friday.

The patrol says the accident happened on state Route 5 in Portage County around 2:30 p.m.

The patrol says a van headed east crossed over the center line and struck a car driven by Sonya Diaz of Newton Falls.

The patrol says both Diaz and the other driver, whose name has not yet been released, were killed. The accident is under investigation.
