MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) - Directional signs will be added along Lakeshore Trail in western Michigan’s Muskegon to point visitors and users toward the beach, the city’s downtown, cultural experiences and dining.

The Muskegon Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1MAJpr7 ) that the city plans to have the signs in place next year.

The Community Foundation for Muskegon County granted the city $1,500 from its Community Needs Wish List for the signs.

Lakeshore Trail is paved and runs along Muskegon Lake to Lake Michigan. It also runs through other parts of Muskegon, which is northwest of Grand Rapids.
