MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire’s Currier Museum of Art is again ringing in the new year with a child-friendly festival in advance of the more traditional New Year’s Eve celebration.

The annual “Noon Year’s Eve” event takes place Tuesday, Dec. 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The celebration features a magician, live music, art activities and a finale that includes hundreds of balloons dropping from the ceiling. More than 600 people have attended the event in recent years.

Tickets are available at www.currier.org .
