BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (AP) - Three people have been arrested in southern Michigan after police responding to a home invasion complaint found them inside.

MLive.com (https://bit.ly/1NIKiSy ) reports that Battle Creek police also found guns, masks and gloves early Sunday morning.

Residents of the home told investigators that they ran outside when the front door was kicked in.

Two of the suspects walked out and surrendered after police arrived. A police dog found the third person hiding in a basement crawl space.

MLive.com reports that the man had to be treated for dog bites.
