HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) - Police have identified a woman found dead in a burning house in Hamden over the holiday weekend.

They say the victim in Saturday’s fire on Lilac Avenue is 45-year-old Jennifer Antonier. No further information was released Sunday.

Police previously said they’re treating the fire as suspicious and the death as a possible homicide.

WVIT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1OfPwqf) a car registered to Antonier was also recently found burned in New Haven.

Hamden police are investigating what connection that incident has to the early Saturday morning house fire which took place sometime before 1:30 a.m.

Antonier was found dead on the second floor. Neighbors told the NBC-owned station that she lived in the house alone.
