DENVER (AP) - Investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire at an animal crematorium in north Denver.

More than 30 firefighters responded to a report of an explosion at the facility Monday afternoon. Assistant Fire Chief Tony Berumen tells The Denver Post (https://goo.gl/AxfO4k ) that investigators have not yet determined if an explosion was to blame, and they are looking at how the furnace used for animal cremation started the blaze.

Two men who tried to fight the fire were evaluated at the scene, treated and released. An additional unit on the strip mall of warehouse space sustained water damage.
