PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - The average retail gasoline price in Maine has fallen 3.1 cents per gallon in the past week, according to the website GasBuddy.com.

Maine gas is now averaging $2.08 per gallon according to the website. The national average did not move and is still $2 per gallon. GasBuddy’s Maine survey included 1,228 gas outlets.

Maine gas prices on Sunday were 39.2 cents per gallon lower than the same day a year ago. They were also 10.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average is down 4.2 cents per gallon during the last month and down 28.2 cents per gallon from a year ago.
