PHILADELPHIA (AP) - More than 50 homes in southwest Philadelphia are without water service after a water main break.

The break occurred on an 8-inch main in the city’s Eastwick neighborhood around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Officials say Elmwood Avenue in the area of the break has been shut down to traffic due to street buckling. Crews are working to shore up the main and restore service to the area.
