NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a New York City man who was missing for six weeks has been pronounced dead in New Jersey.

The New York Police Department says Tuesday investigators discovered Anthony Urena on Christmas Day.

They referred all questions surrounding the circumstances of the 23-year-old Manhattan man’s death to the Hoboken Police Department. A Hoboken officer said officials would be available to comment Wednesday.

The state medical examiner in Newark was expected to perform the autopsy.

New York City police say Urena was last seen leaving an upper Manhattan night club at around 5 a.m. on Nov. 14. They say he was wearing a green leather jacket, blue baseball cap, black jeans and black boots.
