TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A member of the Universal Aryan Brotherhood prison gang has pleaded guilty to federal racketeering and drug charges.

U.S. Attorney Danny C. Williams Sr. says Ronnie Dean Haskins entered the pleas Tuesday in federal court in Tulsa. Haskins, also known as Dirty Red, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to conduct a racketeering enterprise, conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and two charges of violence committed in aid of racketeering.

An indictment alleged Haskins conspired in racketeering activities to advance the gang’s activities, including selling methamphetamine.

Williams says Haskins also acknowledged participating in the kidnapping and maiming of a former gang member who violated the group’s bylaws.

Prosecutors say the gang is a “white only” organization with members operating inside and outside of state prisons throughout Oklahoma.
