STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) - Drug investigators in central Wisconsin say two people have been arrested for trafficking heroin in Portage, Wood and Waupaca counties.

Members of the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Tuesday at a residence in Plover. Authorities say they found evidence of heroin and marijuana trafficking.

A 47-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were arrested on Interstate 39 near Coloma. Officials say they were traveling back to Plover from Chicago. Agents seized their vehicle, 17 grams of suspected heroin and about $2,000 in cash.

The two were taken to the Portage County Jail.
