TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (AP) - Authorities in northwest Alabama say they’re searching for a woman and two men who brandished guns from the window of a Jeep as they fled sheriff’s deputies.

Colbert County Sheriff’s officials said in a statement Thursday that authorities were pursuing 22-year-old Skyler Nicole Burgess, who was wanted on an escape warrant and had been staying at a local hotel.

Authorities say the woman was riding with two unknown men and the vehicle’s occupants pointed guns at other drivers as they fled deputies in Lauderdale County.

Authorities say the SUV the three had been riding in has been recovered, but the trio has not been found.

Sheriff’s officials weren’t immediately available to comment on the circumstances surrounding the woman’s escape warrant.

Authorities say the three are considered armed and dangerous.
