PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a teenage boy from Anthem who was believed to have run away from home has been found dead.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials say the body of 16-year-old Nicodemus Kyllingstad was found Thursday morning in the desert north of Anthem.

They say there are no signs of foul play, but didn’t provide any information on how the teen may have died.

Family and friends of Kyllingstad told ABC15 (https://bit.ly/1NsiyhB) that he was last seen Sunday and didn’t go to school the next day.

The sheriff’s office began a search for him and said he was believed to be a runaway.
