TULSA, Okla. (AP) - More than 26 pounds of cocaine have been found on an American Airlines jet in Tulsa.

The Tulsa World reports (https://bit.ly/1Tk72JO ) that sheriff’s deputies were called to Tulsa International Airport Tuesday after employees found two packages of a white powdery substance on a plane in the maintenance center.

The deputies notified U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents. The agencies removed 10 square packages totaling 26.2 pounds from the plane.

Deputy Justin Green says the substance has been positively identified as cocaine and has been stored in the property room at the sheriff’s office.
