SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Investigators have identified the two men who were killed in a head-on crash with a school bus carrying a high school swim team in southern New Jersey.

State police say 49-year-old Michael Razzano and 41-year-old Sean McNaughton were pronounced dead at the scene of the Southampton Township crash Tuesday.

Authorities say the Volkswagen Passat the men were traveling in crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with the bus. Police tell The Philadelphia Inquirer that Razzano may have been trying to pass other vehicles at a high rate of speed when his car hit the bus.

Twenty students from Lenape High School were on the bus. Investigators say eight students and one adult were hospitalized with minor injuries.
