FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) - The owner of a New Jersey gymnastics business that caters to children as young as two has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni (grah-mee-chee-OWN’-ee) said 51-year-old Ronald Charles of Freehold Township was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.

Charles owns Galaxy Gymnastics in Freehold. He was released on $40,000 bail and ordered to have no contact with minors.

Investigators say a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children helped lead them to Charles. Images of child pornography allegedly were found on a computer seized from Charles’ home office.

A voicemail left at Galaxy Wednesday evening wasn’t returned. An attorney representing Charles said his client denies the charges.
