CENTRALIA, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol is searching for a man who fired a gun at another vehicle in a road-rage incident on Interstate 5.

The Chronicle reports (https://goo.gl/Vd0UHW ) a man called 911 Wednesday morning to report a man was chasing him and firing a gun at him on southbound I-5 north of Centralia.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn says the victim came up on a man driving a Jeep Cherokee in the fast lane and that the man brake-checked him.

The caller then sped around him, got in front and hit his brakes. Finn says that’s when the man fired two shots which went through the back window of the victim’s windshield and out the front window.

Officers are searching for the suspect, a man about 60 to 70 years old with a white beard.
