THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Lafourche Parish sheriff’s detectives have arrested two suspects in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man at a party earlier this month in Raceland.

In a news release, the sheriff’s office said 23-year-old Jordan Williams and 21-year-old Kendell Thibodeaux Jr., both of Houma, were booked Tuesday.

Thibodeaux faces a charge of second-degree murder in the death of Tra’von Folse and both men face attempted murder charges related to the shooting.

Folse died at a local hospital after he was shot in the abdomen, and three other men - ages 20, 23 and 24 - were injured in the gunfire. The shooting was reported about 12:45 a.m. Dec. 6.

The sheriff’s office said Williams was arrested late Tuesday night, but Thibodeaux had been jailed since Dec. 18 on a parole violation charge.
