WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - An Arizona woman is facing charges in a fatal crash in the western North Dakota oil patch.

Twenty-six-year-old Lacey Eckert, of Phoenix, is accused of driving through a stop sign at a highway intersection near Mandaree on Dec. 1 and colliding with another vehicle, killing a 36-year-old Minot man and injuring a second person.

Eckert was charged Wednesday with felony negligent homicide and misdemeanor aggravated reckless driving. She could face up to seven years in prison if convicted.

Court documents do not list an attorney for Eckert, and a home telephone listing for her could not be found.
