Baltimore firefighters battle warehouse blaze

BALTIMORE (AP) - A warehouse fire burned in east Baltimore, blanketing the city with heavy smoke.

The blaze broke out Thursday afternoon in a commercial area. Local broadcasters showed video of firefighters directing streams of water onto the structure from ladders. No injuries were reported.

The Baltimore Office of Emergency Management tweeted that residents should close their windows to avoid the smoke.
