MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee police have released the names of two men killed when a stolen sport utility vehicle crashed into their car at a north side intersection.

Police identify the victims as 57-year-old Terry Jackson and 59-year-old Darrell Thompson. Both men were from Milwaukee.

The fatal crash happened Wednesday after police tried to stop a stolen Kia Sportage. Police say the SUV driver sped away and crashed into a Chevy Malibu. The two men in the Chevy were killed.

The women in the SUV, ages 21 and 22, were placed under arrest and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police say the woman who was driving the stolen SUV facing possible charges of hit-and-run causing death, homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle and operating after suspension causing death.
