LOWELL, Mass. (AP) - A former Massachusetts Department of Youth Services cook has been found guilty of statutory rape after he was accused of sexual assaulting the 15-year-old baby sitter of his children and then forcing the girl to take a morning-after pill so she wouldn’t get pregnant.

The Lowell Sun reports (https://bit.ly/1SBV7Xz ) 41-year-old Timothy Casbohm was convicted Thursday of one count of statutory rape of a child and two counts of posing a child in a state of nudity. The jury found the Lowell resident not guilty on four other counts of statutory rape.

Prosecutors say the sexual assaults occurred from April to July 2013 while the victim was hired to watch Casbohm’s three young children.

Casbohm was fired from his job at an undisclosed DYS facility following his arrest in August 2014.
