CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Gov. Brian Sandoval has ordered flags to fly at half-staff through Monday in honor of victims of this week’s mass shooting in San Bernardino.

Sandoval issued an executive order Thursday, calling for Nevada and U.S. flags to be lowered at all state public buildings and grounds.

The order coincides with one issued by President Barack Obama calling for flags to be lowered at federal public buildings and military posts.

Fourteen people died Wednesday when a county restaurant inspector and his wife opened fire on his coworkers during an office holiday party. The shooters later died in a gunbattle with police.
