MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire companies who want to secure Uncle Sam as a customer are getting a chance to meet with federal agencies at a matchmaking event at Manchester Community College.

Friday’s gathering will feature BAE Systems, the New Hampshire National Guard, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and 20 other exhibitors. The event was organized by the New Hampshire Procurement Technical Assistance Program, the Small Business Development Center and the Small Business Administration.

Last year, New Hampshire companies sold $1.7 billion worth of goods and services to the federal government.

The state Department of Resources and Economic Development also is hosting a “Life after the Matchmaker” seminar next week to help companies maintain the connections they made.
