NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Aaron Bacote scored 18 points, Denzell Taylor added 12 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds, and Old Dominion routed winless Delaware State 82-38 on Friday night, ending a four-game losing streak.

Jordan Baker scored 13 points with three steals and Zoran Talley added 12 points for the Monarchs (4-4), who shot 30 of 60 from the field and never trailed.

Old Dominion outrebounded the Hornets 50-30, got 21 second-chance points off of 17 offensive rebounds, and outscored the Hornets 46-14 in the paint. Trey Freeman contributed four assists.

Old Dominion opened the second half with 10 unanswered points, then Bacote scored eight straight points and the Monarchs led by 43 with 5:33 to play.

Mahir Johnson led the Hornets (0-8) with 10 points. They trailed 44-15 at halftime and shot just 25 percent from the field.
