NEW ORLEANS (AP) - More than 20 students from the Uptown Music Theatre will perform the National Anthem on Sunday when the New Orleans Saints take on the undefeated Carolina Panthers.

The students, ages 8 to 15, will be under the direction of Grammy Award-winning producer and NEA Jazz Master Delfeayo Marsalis.

Marsalis founded the program in 2000 to provide professional dramatic arts training to New Orleans youth.

UMT performs musicals that are inspired by American history, folklore, and New Orleans culture. The group is currently the four-time reigning champions of the iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kickoff Sunday is at 3:25 p.m.
