NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Service on the PATH rail system’s 33rd Street line has resumed after a suspension because of a track condition.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says service to 33rd Street from Journal Square and Hoboken was suspended early Friday evening because debris on the track is causing a third-rail power problem.

Service was operating again by 7 p.m. with residual delays.
