CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - Two Camden men have been indicted on felony murder charges in the slaying of a city man found shot to death in car that had crashed into a fence.

Camden County prosecutors say 24-year-old Wilbert Shiveley and 19-year-old Fernando Rivera also face murder, robbery, weapons and conspiracy charges in the indictment recently handed up by a county grand jury.

Rivera was 17 when the slaying occurred but will be tried as an adult.

The charges stem from the August 2013 death of 19-year-old William Custis IV.

Prosecutors say Custis was found in the driver’s seat of the car. They say Shiveley and Rivera killed him during a robbery and were passengers in the vehicle when it crashed.

Lawyers for the two men could not be reached for comment Saturday.
