FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for dealing cocaine and methamphetamine in the Grafton area.

Jose Ramos pleaded guilty in September to two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Authorities say the 40-year-old Ramos distributed at least 500 grams of cocaine.

U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson says Ramos has a history of unevaluated substance abuse and ordered a chemical dependency assessment.

Ramos must serve four years of supervised release when he gets out of prison.
