NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - A Nebraska community college is offering a course intended to help participants land a job.

Mid-Plains Community College will offer a one-hour credit online course this month that outlines the job application process and will provide students with the tools and skills needed to design an effective job search campaign.

The course will be taught by Berva Arensdorf, the community college’s area employment services coordinator. Arensdorf says the course is designed to allow students the time to focus on creating documents necessary for a job search and practicing skills related to job interviews.

The course begins Dec. 14 and runs through Jan. 7.
