SEASIDE, Ore. (AP) - Fire officials say four homes were heavily damaged in a fire Sunday morning in Seaside.

KPTV reports (https://is.gd/HIiKJe ) fire crews were called to the fire just after 2:30 a.m. As the fire grew, crews from around the area were called to assist.

Firefighters say that the fire was contained by 7:30 Sunday morning.

Four homes were severely damaged with three of them expected to be a total loss.

A volunteer firefighter had minor injuries but is expected to recover. No one else was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
