DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover police say officers arrested a man with two loaded handguns after a traffic stop.

Police say 23-year-old Jason Mills was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for a registration violation on Saturday afternoon.

Police say the officer smelled marijuana and asked for the names of the three people in the car. A computer check revealed that Mills was wanted on a local fugitive warrant.

Police say it appeared that the men in the car were trying to hide something. The officer checked under the passenger seat where Mills had been sitting and found the two loaded handguns.

Police say Mills admitted the guns were his and was arrested. He faces several handgun charges.
