EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Authorities are looking into two armed robberies near the University of Oregon campus.

The robbery reports came in about 35 minutes apart on Saturday morning. Victims said a person came up to them armed with a handgun and demanded their cell phones and other items in their pockets.

The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/1IwU2QC ) that neither person was injured.

In the first incident, a man told Eugene Police that he was robbed near the east side of South Eugene High School. A short time later, a female UO student told campus police that she was robbed near the Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Both agencies investigated but could not locate or identify a suspect.
