HOUSTON (AP) - Authorities say a 12-year-old girl was killed when occupants of a passing car fired into a group of juveniles who had gathered in the driveway of a Houston home.

Police spokesman John Cannon says the girl, who has not been identified by authorities, died at the scene following the shooting about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Cannon says a 13-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy also were struck and were in stable condition Sunday at a Houston hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

He says several shots were fired at the group from a small, gray car carrying four men.

Police do not have a motive for the shooting.

A $5,000 reward has been established to help apprehend the suspects.
