WALKERTOWN, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man shot and killed himself after shooting two other people during a domestic dispute in Forsythe County.

Chief Deputy Brad Stanley of the county sheriff’s department tells local media outlets that 39-year-old Kevin Shon McGuire of Walkertown shot and wounded his wife 34-year-old Alisha Marie McGuire and also wounded 36-year-old Joshua Hamilton Curtis of King.

Stanley says that King then shot and killed himself during the Saturday morning incident.

Investigators are unsure of the relationship between the McGuires and Curtis. Stanley said the wounds of the two people who were shot were not life-threatening.

Deputies say that Alisha McGuire had obtained a protective last week that barred her husband from their home.
