EASTPORT, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a two-car crash on Long Island killed a passenger in one of the cars.

The accident happened at 2:47 p.m. Sunday in Eastport.

Suffolk County police say Rudi Ramirez was driving southbound on County Road 51 when a northbound car driven by Madeline Keane made a left turn in front of Ramirez’s car.

Ramirez’s passenger, 41-year-old Blanca Coslaya, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The two drivers and Keane’s two passengers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
