DERRY, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire officials say two drivers were seriously injured in a head-on collision in Derry.

Authorities say the accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Rockingham Road.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1NCPV1d ) that firefighters had to use the jaws of life of extricate one driver, who was air-lifted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston with life-threatening injuries.

Officials say the other driver was rushed to Parkland Medical Center with “significant” injuries.

Authorities did not identify either driver.
